Getting help

How to search the help center, ask Caddie a question, and contact support — and which of these require signing in.

The help center at /help has three ways to get an answer: search the articles, ask Caddie (the in-app assistant) a question, or contact support directly. Search and the articles themselves are open to everyone; asking Caddie and contacting support both require a signed-in account.

How do I search the help center?

Type into the search box at the top of /help. Results appear as you type and link straight to the matching article — sometimes to the specific heading that matched, not just the top of the page. Search works without an account and without a network request; it runs entirely in your browser against the same article text shown on the page.

How do I ask Caddie a question?

Type a question into the same search box (at least 8 characters) and an "Ask Caddie" button appears alongside the search results — press it, or press Enter. Caddie opens in a new conversation with your question already in its message box; press Ask there to send it. Caddie answers from the help articles — and, for questions about your own leagues and events, from your league's data — and links the articles it drew on under the answer. You must be signed in to ask Caddie; a logged-out visitor sees a "Sign in to ask Caddie" prompt in place of the button, and the article search below it still works normally. Guests cannot use Caddie.

Caddie is also in the top bar of every page once you are signed in, so you can ask without coming to the help center. See Asking Caddie for what to ask, the daily limits, and how conversations work.

Caddie only answers from what's written in the help articles and what you can see in your own leagues — it does not invent features or speculate about anything not yet built. If your question isn't covered, it says so plainly; the "Contact support" section is the next step.

How do I contact support?

Scroll to the "Still need help?" section at the bottom of /help and tap Contact support to open a short message box. Submitting it emails the ForeYourLeague support team; your name and email are filled in automatically from your profile, and you'll see an inline confirmation once it sends. You must be signed in to contact support — a logged-out visitor sees a "Sign in to contact support" prompt in that section instead of the form. A search with no matching articles links directly down to this section.

Why do asking Caddie and contacting support require an account, when search doesn't?

Articles and search stay open to anyone, including visitors who haven't created an account yet, so the help center works as a public reference. Asking Caddie and contacting support both use real resources per request (an AI call, an email to the support team), so they're limited to signed-in users.
